(CNSNews.com) - Rep. Diana DeGette (D.-Colo.), the chairhmn of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommitte on Oversight, omitted the phrase "So help me God" when she administered the oath to witnesses testifying in a hearing on Thursday morning.
When Rep. Jeff Duncan (R.-S.C.) reminded DeGette of the omission, she indicated that it was intentional:
"This is the--ah, this is the oath we use, and that's the oath we're going to use today," said DeGette said, who then moved on with the hearing.

She will be omitted from Heaven
degeete has not the authority to decide or change "the oath we're going to use today"
Guess all the testimony is not usable if not under oath.
Time for a change
Anti-God, anti-constitution, anti-gun, pro baby killing Democrats. Unbelievable how many on the Eastern Shore share their beliefs. Look at your neighbors. I guarantee you that many of them are Democrats.
No reason to use it. Should have been eliminated long ago for two glaringly, obvious reasons.
It compels speech that violates the right to freedom of religion. It is compelling a call and oath to a specific deity that someone may not accept as such. It violates citizens individual liberty.
Second, it is an obvious violation of the Establishment clause, and church state separation.

Nope you are wrong.
You don't get to decide who goes to Heaven.
Jesus Christ saved ALL SOULS
Jesus Christ also instructed us to NEVER swear on the name of the Father!
Educate yourself.
