Jeffries Backs Off Trump ‘Grand Wizard’ Comment

Although he did not say he regretted calling President Donald Trump “the grand wizard of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue,” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) backed off his comment on Wednesday, saying he does not actually think the president “is a card-carrying member of the KKK.”

However, Jeffries pointed out Trump “has presided and engaged in directly a series of racially insensitive remarks.”

Jeffries told CNN “New Day” host Alisyn Camerota that Martin Luther King, Jr., Day should be a day where people can have a “candid” conversation about race.

“But you called the president the grand wizard meaning of the KKK. That’s language of the KKK. You think the president of the United States is connected to the KKK? He’s a Klansman?” Camerota asked.

The truth is, it was that icon of the democratic party, LBJ, that was a card carrying member of the KKK.

Black people seem to only want to talk "race" when it involves what else white people can give them (because on their own, they believe they are worthless and incapable of accomplishment unless someone "helps" them -- meaning white people, of course) so they can finally be "equal" -- meaning having the same things white people have, just without the years of work and sacrifice.
They also like to talk about race when it involves white guilt, white privilege (!??), and evil white history.
They DON'T like to talk about race when it comes to crime, teen pregnancy, drug use, high school drop out rates, fatherless homes, violence in black communities, kids having kids, misogyny, illiteracy, and the decay of just about every inner city area in the country. Just to name a few problems BLACK PEOPLE HAVE that they DON'T like to talk about when talking about (their) race.
Personal responsibility. Personal accountability. Self control.
The ability to debate without thinking everything comes down to a fight or a murder. Telling your 14 year old daughter to take off her hooker outfit and no, she's not going to no club on Friday night with a car full of 17-18 year old boys.
Tell your son to study and stay in school, because as much as you love the thought of him buying you a million dollar house with his signing bonus, it is VERY VERY unlikely. He will end up illiterate and unable to find a job that doesn't involve sweeping, lifting, or cleaning. And his "crew" won't help him much in a normal life, either. Here's another clue --- THAT ain't the white man's fault.
Tell your kids that the road to success is a long one that doesn't involve fighting, stealing, destruction, and blaming others for what YOU couldn't do. THOSE things lead to poverty, prison, and death. Preach it!!
SET AN EXAMPLE.
Wherever black people live, white people flee.
It's all because of SKIN COLOR???
Hardly.

Now.... Let's talk about race.
Keep cheering.
