Wicomico Recreation event is Jan. 5
SALISBURY, Md. – Clean out the house and take home cash by selling items at the Wicomico Recreation Indoor Community Yard Sale.
Table and booth rentals are available for the event, which is set for Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.
The yard sale will run from 7 a.m.-noon, and admission for members of the public who want to shop is $3 per person. Children younger than 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
“The Indoor Community Yard Sale is a great opportunity to get your items in front of people who will be at the event to shop,” said Vanessa Junkin, assistant director of marketing and public relations for Wicomico County Recreation, Parks & Tourism.
Reservations for table and booth rentals can be made at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center box office (500 Glen Ave., Salisbury, MD, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.), online at www.WicomicoCivicCenter.org (an online fee may apply) or by phone at 410-548-4911.
Table rentals are $15 and booths are $40 for a 10-foot space including three tables. Regular setup for sellers will begin at 4 a.m. the morning of the sale. Early setup for sellers is available on Friday, Jan. 4, from 5-8 p.m. for an additional $5.
Reserve a space by Jan. 4 at noon, while tables and booths last.

Those doing the selling at the yard sale get to check the place out and buy before the public is allowed in. They get all of the good buys. That is totally unfair. They need to stop that practice. Your either selling or buying.
