Here is something almost all Americans agree on: we’re divided.
Nine out of 10 Americans say political divisions in our country are aserious problem, according to a recent poll. Six in 10 say it’s a very serious problem. One doesn’t have to look very far to find examples.
In a New York Times editorial, Paul Krugman wrote“hate is on the ballot next week.” Why is that? Because Republicans are on the ballot and they are “peddling hatred.” Krugman blames the recent massacre at a Pittsburgh synagogue on a “climate of paranoia and racism deliberately fostered by Donald Trump and his allies in Congress.” And when he’s not blaming Trump for the killing, he blames Fox News.
This is completely wrong, of course. But consider the irony.
In the very act of accusing Republicans of hate, Krugman’s editorial itself is so brimming with hatefulness, it’s stunning. Remember, Trump is a better friend of Israel than any president we’ve ever had. His own daughter and her husband are practicing Jews.He stood up against the anti-Semites in Palm Beachwhen he opened his Mar-a-Lago hotel. Yet Krugman compares him to neo-Nazis.

The Left is desperate.
I believe this all started with the 'borking' of Bork...This is when I saw a definite change in the way politicians, in this case DEMS really believed in the ends justified the means...The DEMS are experts at this now and of course the Lying, FAKE Media is THE arm of the DEM Party...
Then you must look at our Failing Government/Public Schools and how they have Indoctrinated the students, from a very young age, to believe in Socialism/Communism and believe they are Owed a living...NO American/World History taught, Creative Spelling and Math; now Common Core which is a part of the New World Order, Not even Geography, Civics and so much more...Only 'feel good' and empty studies. So sad for the Parents and the Children who Remained in this Failing system and are still there today...Not good for our future for sure.
Krugman, the moronic NY Time's columnist who said even if he himself was King, he couldn't get the US economy back to a 3% growth rate.
Time to bow down, Krugman. Like many on the left, he's an academic. He's created nothing, but spouts off in long winded bloviations. Remember folks, those that can't do, teach(and write lousy columns in the NYTs).
The jerk that held us hostage for eight years is the blame. Our current president and leader is helping pull us in shape. He doesn't have much to work with, but is doing a good job. Thank you sir!
Obama, Clinton, Demon-craps
The freedom killing left is to blame.
Anonymous 1:41 has the timeline down right. It started when civility ended and partisan and identity politics started.
The 'Borking' set the tone for the end of civility in Washington.
Before that, it was OK to agree to disagree. After that, you were either this or that, for something or dead-set against it. Middle ground and saddling the fence was no longer in vogue.
Another event that showed how divided we were and set the theme in concrete for Congress' to follow was the Obama-care vote. That was singularly the first time where I saw a decisive divide of the isle between the Dems and GOP. They have not been able to get along since then.
It started when those damn kids got their MTV!!!!
Krugman needs to learn his job of reporting. It started with Bork then Obama promoted racism and socialism against the peoples will. Obama always blamed the white race and the black race as superior. Obama separated the population by imposing his rule of law not the US rule of law by his executive orders that he used for by passing the Congress. Obama supported Black Lives Matter, Farrakhan and all other divisive groups like Soros. Obama started the second civil war which is coming quickly.
In a word................OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The biggest racist of all time.
The left has always been this way declaring every Republican unfit for centuries. It’s really the same ole same ole but on steroids cause they are losing the fight. People are finally done with platitudes. Promises made, promises kept.
