WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Donald Trump backed boycotting American motorcycle manufacturer Harley Davidson Inc (HOG.N) on Sunday, the latest salvo in a dispute between the company and Trump over tariffs on steel.
The Wisconsin-based motorcycle manufacturer announced a plan earlier this year to move production of motorcycles for the European Union from the United States to its overseas facilities to avoid the tariffs imposed by the trading bloc in retaliation for Trump’s duties on steel and aluminum imports.
In response, Trump has criticized Harley Davidson, calling for higher, targeted taxes and threatening to lure foreign producers to the United States to increase competition.

I've been a member of HOG for years and glad to see a boycott. HD is actually over rated and priced. Heck you purchase a teeshirt and pay a ridiculous price, like anything with HD on it.
Always stop at the Harley dealership in Annapolis if I gotta go, the bathrooms are always impeccably clean, and sometimes there are even flowers by the sinks.
Hell, I'm buying an Indian FTR1200. Thing looks mean!
Harley actually announced their move BEFORE the tariffs were announced and then turned around 2 weeks later and blamed Trump. Gotta love it!
As is most anything HD, t-shirt, coffee cup,hat,etc....look at the label, not made here anyways..
What's a boycott to people who already own Harleys. If you want to do something then sell yours and buy an Indian. I'm going to keep mine.
@2:57 I'm with you. It's time to start supporting Indian and their loyalty to USA. I'm looking at a 2018 Indian chief classic
Clowns, buffoons, and hypocrites. Funny how just a few years ago you would have been screaming this is a dictatorship at work and labeling trump as a crony capitalist.
Sell those death traps and move on with life!
