A 66-year-old North Carolina woman out for her daily walk was attacked and killed by two pit bulls.
Montgomery County Sheriff Chris Watkins said in a statement that the woman, whose name has not been released, went missing while taking her daily walk on Thursday.
When she didn't return home, her husband called friends and neighbors who helped search the area around the Lake Tillery, North Carolina, development they lived in.
Unable to find her, they called 911, according to the statement obtained by the Montgomery Herald.
Sheriff's deputies and a search and rescue team were sent to the area. Within hours, the woman's body was found by the side of an unused road in the development.

The owner agreed for the dogs to be euthanized so they could be forensically examined to see if they suffered from rabies, - meaning, as usual, the irresponsible owner didn't bother to get them a $10 rabies shot.

Okay, so once again PIT BULLS apparently attacked someone. So why does the Wicomico County Humane Society continue to offer pit bulls and mixed breed pit bulls for adoption?

I agree there need to be stricter Laws regarding
ALL Dogs that have potential to harm. Pitts seem
to pose the greatest threat because of the strength in
their bite and not letting go.
