On a day when top Democrats like House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) tried to downplay any talk of impeaching President Donald Trump, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) declared that it is Congress’s “responsibility” to impeach Trump for “high crimes.”
Pelosi has previously said that “any discussion of impeachment” would be a “gift to Republicans” and claimed on Wednesday that impeachment is “not a priority” for Democrats.
But after Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to various campaign finance violations on Tuesday, Waters could not restrain herself, tweeting about impeachment hours after Pelosi signaled to Democrats to downplay the issue.

What high crimes? In 2008, the Obama campaign committed over 1,000 campaign finance violations, and got fined 375K.

As Diamond and Silk said this morning. These politicians are paid by us. If they are not protecting us and care only about non-citizens, they need to be out of employment.

Mad Max wants Trump impeached whether there is ANY evidence of a crime, or not, according to her previous comments. She has proved that she has nothing but tunnel vision, and a league of ignorant voters (the REAL deplorables, all of them, not 50%) that support her. How sad for our country, and her district that she represents.
Anyone attempting to delegate responsibility onto another should at least be intelligent enough to spell it. More than likely that leaves Auntie Maxine out of the picture.
