Comptroller Peter Franchot Slapping Wicomico County In The Face Over The 2-B Liquor Law

Salisbury Maryland Mayor Jake Day and Comptroller Peter Franchot are ignoring state laws by allowing the recently sold riverfront property for $5,000.00 to allow beer sales without due process through the Wicomico Liquor Board. 2-B laws are strictly designed to help a festival, (such as this one) to bypass the Liquor Boards across the state for only beer and wine manufactured IN THE STATE of Maryland. It does NOT include Budweiser, Miller and so forth, yet even though we had stated early on that when Day and Council President Jack Heath put together the sale and contract of that $5,000.00 riverfront lot there was no way they could get the liquor license in time and the contract was no good based on that alone. 

Well, clearly they never planned on going through the normal channels every single business is forced to do, just like the rainbow cross walk Downtown is 100% illegal. Do all of you remember the thin blue line Ocean City painted and then had to remove down Coastal Highway not that long ago. Well, like the crosswalk or not, it's illegal, period.
