MSNBC’s Eddie Glaude laughed about the murder of white farmers in South Africa on Morning Joe Thursday and said he thinks “two of them, perhaps, might have been killed in some instance.”
Speaking of Trump tweeting about the “large scale killing” of white farmers and the seizing of their lands in South Africa, Glaude said, “In this instance, [Trump’s] really trafficking in conspiracy theories to kind of in some ways feed red meat to his base.”
“This is nonsense, it’s silly,” Glaude said, “but it’s consistent with the kind of cultural warrior that he is.”
“Because, at the same time that he’s doing this with regards to South African white farmers — I think two of them, perhaps, might have been killed in some instance,” Glaude said while bursting out laughing, “with the majority of folks who have been subject to any kind of violence and this is non-white farmers in this instance.”

Another Liberal who reads only a menu at upscale eateries, not the actual international news.
I have friends that have legally immigrated from S.A. and their parents are land owners and have owned the land for well over 70 years...They have been accosted on numerous occasions and Many of their friends; also land owners, fear for their lives daily. So sad to see this happen. Once the Government gets the land they will NOT share with the black population. They are offering 10% of the land value to the land owners. Not exactly fair.
Glaude doesn't have to worry about being hacked to death by a black man with a machete.
South Africa was 'rescued' from the evils of apartheid by pressure from the predominately white world of the US and Europe.
Sadly, once power was transferred to Mandela and his successors, the situation for SA citizens began to regress, politically, racially and economically.
Expropriating farms and killing the white farmers and/or their families is not going to end well for SA citizens because those who will come into possession of the land are not equipped to continue successful agriculture.
And all colors of SA citizens still need to eat. And as the process accelerates more and more of those with the proper skills and wrong skin color will flee.
Apartheid was evil, slavery is evil, and the temptation to strike back at a former oppressor is understandable. Many of us have been raised with the maxim that 'Two wrongs don't make a right.'
The smirking TV talking head is divorced from both history and current reality. Shame on him.
