7:24 sailboats always have the "right of way" when under sail power. I already knew where this picture was taken before I looked it up. These sail boats come out of Annapolis. They put their sails up but run on motor power and they think that because they are in a sailboat they can cut in front of whoever they want. I bet $100 bucks he was running his engine.

Not hardly the approaching starboard side boat has the right of way sailboat or not

7:24pm must be the Admerial of the Pennsatucky Navy. Ever heard of stand on starboard, sailboat or not rules of the road captain crunch

You better take a boating course before you take the helm of anything! You have much that you need to learn about boating rules.

Then you must be the idiot that illegally rammed the sailboat. You can trust that no true mariner would consider your opinion about boating safety. Too bad there are many boaters out there with their toy boats, that think they know something, but are really ignorant.

Ram a sailboat under sail, from any direction, with a powerboat, and see who gets charged. I know the answer, you don't.

I'd love to take that bet, but you are safe by being anonymous. No idiot would sail under power. kind of counter-productive, don't you think? You are a menace on the water if you think sailboats operate with sails AND power, just to cut in front of someone else. Too bad you are so immature that you can't share the water safely with sailboats.

I've spent most of my life working on the ocean and I've found the safest rule to go by is The bigger you are the more right you have. I didn't say whats right or legal I said what's safest.

Blow boaters always have the right of way over pleasure boaters. The sticky part is that the top boat is a commercial vessel and technically has the right of way. See ya in court I guess.

Piss poor captain of a commercial boat! He was on auto pilot, and not in control of the helm of his vessel. Or he is blind......
