I Guess They Didn't Go To Sam's Club For Gas
I wonder how much gas they'll spend retrieving these bikes? $1.00 for the bike, at least $1.00 to go get the bike back, boy that Jake Day is just a genius. The guy was just too smart to keep his job at Perdue. Now he's saving Salisbury. What a blessing.

i think the bikes are being left out so people see them and get in their head about renting one. who would ride to Fruitland Walmart and just leave two of these along side of the road
there has been one at the corner of Pinehurst and smith street for days. So, you just ride it and leave it wherever? And they just sit out in the rain?
Can anyone give an explanation of how this works? Does the city own the bikes? Lease the bikes? Who gets the dollar? Who is responsible for maintenance? Best case scenario this is still a money loser because I'm sure with all the payment equipment these bikes are over $200 each.
Here's a few good questions, Whats the limit? How far can one person take a bike? I would assume they are locked to a certain region and would stop working and the tires lock up after you get them past say.. the Delaware line? I say Delaware because they would need a Delaware business license to accept money for services in the State of Delaware. Can we get someone on this? id like to see what happens when that bike reaches the Delaware line.
Dockless bikes are actually a better way than docks that you have to go to/find. When you download the software for the bikes you are given a location where all bikes are at that time. Bike theft within the city(applies world-wide) is rampant for folks who commute w/bikes. It is a great idea in theory; just have to see if the public will respond.
saw one at Goodwill the other day...just tossed down on the pavement while there is a perfectly good bike rack a few feet away. I see them laying around Salisbury all the time. Big loss for the city!

I saw 2 of those bikes the other night in front of Walmart on Rt. 13. I guess we saw the same bikes in the area of Sonic.
I got to thinking today how Jake Day is a backstabbing cutthroat.
Jim Ireton got him to run against Debbie Campbell and he won(cough, cough) his race to win District 2.
Then Jakey Boi got cocky and decided to run for mayor. That pissed Jimbo off and he decided that he didn't want the competition since he just barely got through his last race for mayor. Yep, Jake Day is a backstabber and people trust him to save da 'bury! I don't.

I've got an idea make Mayor Jake ride one to and from his office. His idea after all!
I pretty sure there's one in Selbyville too. A haitan guys using it.

I'm seeing more people using them. Every time we see one it's because somebody's used it, I guess.
The people using them need transportation and can't afford a car and insurance or a taxi.

It's all tied to a bank card ..or credit card Thur a cell ..and if that's is the case ..why not just use the Uber app and be clean and done !?? Lol
Still there as of yesterday still in same spot
Bikes cost $500 each delivered to deploy location
Not in Selbyville. I checked GPS tracking
