Authorities allege a Missouri man killed his girlfriend in front of her daughter after she refused to lend him $36.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 42-year-old Brian Clay was charged Thursday in the shooting death of his girlfriend, 32-year-old Loreal Goode.
Police allege that Clay shot Goode in the head on Wednesday while they were in a car parked in a Family Dollar parking lot in Jennings.
Goode's 14-year-old daughter was also in the vehicle.
'My daughter didn't deserve this,' Goode's mother, Joann Goode, told the Post-Dispatch on Thursday. 'She didn't deserve to go out like this.'
Authorities say the shooting occurred after Goode refused Clay's request for a ride to a pawnshop and $36 so he could get his television back.

Indeed that is true.
The article indicates her having her child at age 18, then lives with a man who must pawn his tv for funds.
Women need to have better screening methods for men they desire.
There are 3.5 billion males on this planet to choose from.
Act wisely.
That's methed up.
My own daughter is just as stupid, married twice to 2 total losers now living with a third loser. I love her to death but when it comes to picking a man she is just plain dumb. It's really sad because I would like to see her with a really good man I could be proud of.
Drunk again? @108
Now he gets a cot, three squares and all of the TV he wants in a cage.
9:54 Just like the kids from central america.
Too late unless she is drop dead gorgeous!
June 23at 9:54 You are correct but you forgot to say "for free".
For $36, she could have still been alive. I think that would have been a good deal.
