A federal judge late Friday barred the government from implementing President Donald Trump's ban on transgender troops pending a review of court challenges because of the history of discrimination against transgender individuals.
U.S. District Court Judge Marsha Pechman of the Western District of Washington ruled that transgender people were a protected class of people, HuffPost reports.
"The court also rules that, because transgender people have long been subjected to systemic oppression and forced to live in silence, they are a protected class," Pechman wrote in her decision.

Trump needs to get rid of those judges if he can.
What happened to Obama ignoring a judges court order several times? I think it had something to do with not being a legitimate candidate for President.
Something just does not smell right. Kimba Wood is the judge in the Michael Cohen case.

11:57 You're incorrect about President Reagan nominating Kimba Wood for AG. He did appoint her to the Federal bench; she was recommended to him by Sen. Al D'Amato (R).
She was Bill Clinton's second choice for AG. He was determined to appoint a female. Zoe Baird fell out for using illegal aliens in her household and not paying taxes on their wages. Nomination withdrawn.
Kimba Wood was next put forth. She also had illegal alien household help but did pay wage taxes; nomination withdrawn.
That left Janet Reno as Clinton's nominee who could pass muster; guess it helped she had no kids. Shudder!
