WASHINGTON — A D.C. activist has moved to Maryland because he has had enough of lawmakers from outside the District trying to stifle the will of D.C. residents.
He aims to use the ballot box to unseat a congressman.
This November, Adam Eidinger wants voters to oust Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD), the incumbent of Maryland’s First Congressional District.
Eidinger recently moved to Salisbury, Maryland, where he has an apartment and his voting residence; he still maintains a home in D.C.

Not a snowball's chance in Hell.
Just what da 'Bury needs - "a vanguard of DC grass roots activists to make a new home in Salisbury, MD."
Be sure YOU'RE registered as a Republican and VOTE for Harris...encourage friends and family to do same.
I'm all for the pot deal but I'm not voting against Harris. I will not do it. If you need pot for pain or brain issues it's easy to get a script..
Well my vote will cancel out his vote so, all good.
If I was a betting man he really doesn't live in Salisbury, just purchased a home in the lowest priced area of Maryland to say he lives there.
Hey if this is what it takes to keep or to lower the penalties of Marijuana for our state this is exactly what your supposed to do if you don't like what a congressmen does!!!! You replace them!!!!
Joe did it to run for Mayor of SBY!!! So whats the problem, this is what you do if you want to effect change, you stand up and make change, unlike the rest of you who get on a blog and run your mouth about how you don't like something or what someone does, but still let them do it while you complain...
Go ahead and complain on this guy, you clowns of SBY won't even stand up for your own damn rights so I know your arguments will be mute...
This is my exact point to begin with, you have to take rights from one to let another have their's... One wants to smoke weed, the other doesn't want you to smoke weed, but who says the one guy gets to dictate what you put in your own body???? Same thing with cigarettes, you have to go out side to smoke, then you argue why do you have to go out side, why not make the non-smoker go out side or go to a different establishment!!! The point is you can't make everyone happy and everyone thinks they have a right to tell you what to do with your own self...
No way!
Um, Andy Harris is a U.S. Senator from Maryland, not a State Senator. He makes federal laws, not local State laws. He would have no influence on Maryland's penalty for marijuana possession.
Will he meet length of residence guideline. This means he has to reside at this residence for 6 months + 1 day to be eligible for permanent residence here. Is that not MD law.
Needs in depth residency investigation. Owning property is not enough.
C'mon, 11:51, why'd you go and tell them that?
You ruined his plans.
"Um, Andy Harris is a U.S. Senator from Maryland" I wonder if he knows about the promotion?
Ability to influence, yes. Ability to change, no.
If you like Andy Harris, then send the message loud and clear: Get out of the way of Cannabis Legislation!
Or lose your job.
I like this guy's efforts. Touche
As long as you don't want to work without your employer being allowed to fire you for what you do legally under Maryland law.
Lol, my bad. Congressman, not Senator. Sorry! Thanks for the correction.
