‘Chappaquiddick’ Is A Brutally Honest Movie Laying Bare The Kennedys For Who They Really Were

Conservatives’ expectations for honest and fair movies coming out of Hollywood are understandably low. For decades now we have been brow-beaten and lectured by clueless celebrities on everything from saving the Spotted Owl to gun control – the latest flavor of the moment.

But a breath of fresh air is blowing in from the left coast. The new movie ‘Chappaquiddick,’ from Entertainment Studios and Apex Entertainment, is a brutally honest recounting of one of America’s greatest public tragedies: the death of Mary Jo Kopechne in a car owned and driven by Senator Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.)

Producer Mark Ciardi has a winner, and perhaps it’s his record of brilliantly telling true sports stories (Invincible, The Rookie, Miracle, and Secretariat) that so influenced a talented group of director and actors – liberals all – to buy into a straight-up, no spin or bias, telling of this story. As one might expect, longtime Ted Kennedy senior aide and speechwriter Bob Shrum, trashed the movie (likely without even seeing it) as “a disservice both to the victim and the truth.” On the contrary, the movie is a revelation of truth exposing the decades-long cover-up that Shrum, and other defenders of the Kennedy faith, have long perpetuated.

Only took 50 years and the death of the principal player for this to be made into a movie. If it had happened to a prominent conservative it would have been made into a movie in less than a year and would be promoted the same as a blockbuster movie.

Dave T: Interesting find about the movie, is that behind closed doors, "big money" power players are attempting to avoid allowing it to be viewed by the general public. Turns out, none other than the infamous clown Chris Dodd is said to be behind stopping the film from airing because he is an old drinking buddy of the late Ted Kennedy. Dodd reportedly has clout with the movie industry as some kind of board member.
Sad how these losers protect their own while carefully screwing the public. I just love these public servants. Wonderful to know that hell is a place perfectly designed to render their deserving punishment. Have fun at the lake of fire Chris, where you will enjoy eternal suffering in darkness with your bosum buddies. If I see your miserble, cowardly face in the next life, I'll be sure to know where I am. I hope you can tell if you read this... that I'm one of your biggest fans.

Driving drunk. Killed someone. Left the scene.
Didn't call the police for what? 18 hours?
LIED about the events.

You or I would have went STRAIGHT to prison.

And he's a heroic icon of the liberal movement?
He was a lying, thieving, murdering philanderer. He was FAMOUS (or infamous) for his sexual escapades in D.C. The bars and restaurants he frequented often closed the section he was sitting in because he would have sex with whichever woman he was with AT THE TABLE. And you better not say anything to him about it. So the owners just closed it off.
Two Sets of Laws have existed for a while.
Keep cheering.
