Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 11 March 2018
Location: 900 block of Sweet Birch Lane, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Stephon E. Harris, 28, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 11 March 2018 at 1:00 AM, a deputy responded to a reported domestic related assault call in the 900 block of Sweet Birch Lane. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a female victim who reported that she had been assaulted by Stephon Harris. During the ensuing investigation of this incident, the deputy observed signs of injury that corroborated the victim’s account.
The deputy placed Harris under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Harris on a $2,000.00 unsecured bond.
Charges: Assault 2nd Degree

Incident: Burglary Arrest
Date of Incident: 12 March 2018
Location: 100 block of E. Lillian Street, Hebron, MD
Suspect: Aaron Joel Matthews, 25, No Fixed Address
Narrative: On 12 March 2018 at 12:55 PM, a deputy arrested Aron Matthews in connection with a residential burglary in Hebron that occurred back in January. A subject, later identified as Aaron Matthews, reportedly smashed a rear window to gain access to a home while the residents were gone. Once inside, Matthews allegedly stole U.S. Currency and a coin collection along with various important documents that belonged to the victim. During the investigation, it was learned that Matthews used to reside at this residence but was currently homeless.
During the ensuing investigation of the crime, a search warrant was executed at a separate residence which unearthed much of the property stolen from the victim in this case. It was determined that Aaron Matthews was the one who brought the purloined property to the location where is was discovered.
Following his arrest, Matthews was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Matthews in the Detention Center without bond.
Charges: Burglary 1st Degree, Theft $1,500.00 to $25,000.00, Malicious Destruction of Property

Incident: Possession of Cocaine
Date of Incident: 13 March 2018
Location: Riverside Drive at Carroll Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Jennifer Lynn Miller, 38, Hebron, MD
Narrative: On 13 March 2018 at 11:40 AM, a deputy stopped a vehicle operated by Jennifer Miller after observing that Miller’s car displayed an expired registration. Because of indicators observed by the deputy, a WCSO Drug K9 team was called to the scene to conduct a scan. Following an alert, the deputy located a baggie of what was identified as cocaine inside the vehicle along with syringes.
The deputy placed Miller under arrest and transported her to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Miller on Personal Recognizance.
Charges: Possession of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Possession is 9/10ths of the law. If he has no fixed address how is he charged and not the homeowner where they located the stolen property?
