The Most Fortunate Minorities in the World

“We are either a United people, or we are not. If the former, let us, in all maters of general concern act as a nation, which have national objects to promote, and a national character to support. If we are not, let us no longer act a farce by pretending to it.”George Washington

Editor’s Note: Mark Alexander is out for several weeks researching a long-overdue book project on Liberty. Standing in for him today is Dennis Prager, who makes some observations about how fortunate religious and ethnic minorities are to live in our great nation today, compared to the rest of the world. Of course, you would not know that based on the Democrat Party’s tried and truedivide-and-conquer strategy to “victimize” dependent constituency groups based on race, religionand gender. As Alexander has documented well, much of the “disunity” Democrats foment is based on the failure of their so-called “Great Society” statist initiatives, which directly resulted in the institutional impoverishment of generations of minority Americans.
