No one should rejoice in the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe by Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Friday. By all accounts, McCabe’s career over two decades of FBI service was marked with achievements.
The firing, however, was based on the recommendation of a career FBI official under current FBI Director Chris Wray and was justified because the FBI has a zero tolerance for lying under oath. In fact, there are many examples of the rank and file in the FBI losing their jobs and retirement benefits for violating these high standards.
If a different standard is applied at the most senior levels, the FBI is lost. So while this is a sad day, the action taken demonstrates that the dedicated men and women of the FBI will accept no lower standards, regardless of your rank or status.
Make no mistake, this was not a political decision forced by President Trump or any external party. The recommendation to fire McCabe came from the FBI's own Office of Professional Responsibility, led by FBI Assistant Director Candice Will, who has been in her position since her appointment by then-Director Robert Mueller in 2004.

It goes deeper than that. Rules on paper are just that. Integrity is another case. These cretonnes call themselves the elite of law enforcement. How elite are they when they involved themselves in a PLOT to rig the 2016 elections against the President elect. This is OUT of the realm of law enforcement and after they screwed it up THEY LIED TO COVER their tracks. Hah....DIDN'T WORK!!
Now to examine their actions. Plainly they were in collaboration with two of the BIGGEST CROOKS ever know to man. Bill& Hillary Clinton. There must have promised some colossal perks for them to sell their souls and INTEGRITY. My take is they're no more than prostitutes (sorry to sully the Ladies)that offer themselves for crumbs (Pelosi) for a ruling group to continue their individual crusades in Government Power. The dummies are us...we keep them in power untouchable by the Constitution and lawful prosecution. Trump has tried to expose this scourge against this Country and now HE bears the cross for it. Russia my ass, is the electorate really that dumb?
Now, if these reprobates are as crooked as they have demonstrated how does one know to what extent they would again lie to make a case in Court?? This is INTEGRITY to NOT exhibit conduct that detracts from the image of the real agents that are honest law enforcement. Do you think ALL the help at the FBI are like Comey and McCabe?? Some of them are truly embarrassed of these antics and I join them in thought. I was only a lowly police patrol officer BUT I could sleep at night and NEVER LIED to make a case nor did I accept any gratuity for my efforts. Not fooled....Bob Aswell
