No it’s a figure of speech. A lot of times information spreads via word of mouth or social media. Sometime true, sometimes false. But mostly true, and sadly because of lack of trust of police within poor areas, people fear coming forward for their own safety. Can anyone really trust that SPD will protect an informant from retribution?
