WASHINGTON — Maryland’s six casinos are generating more gaming revenue for the state, and MGM National Harbor remains the casino revenue king.
All six casinos generated $134.5 million in revenue in September, up 38.6 percent from a year ago.
MGM National Harbor accounted for $49.4 million of that. There is no year-over-year comparison for MGM National Harbor, which opened in December, but it appears to be the revenue driver for the state’s casino industry.
Excluding MGM National Harbor’s September numbers, gaming revenue from the state’s five other casinos was down 12.3 percent from a year ago.
Maryland Live! Casino at Arundel Mills brought in $46.9 million in September, down 12.9 percent from a year ago.

WOW ! Look at all that money
dedicated solely to our educational systems. "It's for the children"
Where's out tax reduction!
All those $100+ administrators funded from Ocean Downs proceeds has been successful. Unfortunately, these administrators simply raise the student's grade to graduate. I can't wait until the current Mayor's suggestion kicks in giving these kids FREE college.
It does all go to education. And for every dollar that goes to education it is a dollar that does not come from the general fund. Therefor no extra money for education
MGM is our King, with Northern VA money being the King's mistress!!!!!
