U.S. District Judge Susan Ritchie Bolton says that President Trump's pardon of former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio does not "revise the historical facts" of his case — and that she will not vacate her ruling that found Arpaio guilty of criminal contempt.
On Thursday, Bolton quoted Black's Law Dictionary to say that a pardon "releases the wrongdoer from punishment and restores the offender's civil rights without qualification." But she then added a further interpretation in her own words: "It does not erase a judgment of conviction, or its underlying legal and factual findings."

Judges need to initially pass a lie detector test, pass a head doctor examination with testing, signed waivers for all medical records to be reviewed and medications since turning 18, urinalysis and random urinalysis along with random lie detector test performed throughout career. If the person refuses ANY test automatically suspended then fired.... I am amazed that they don't. Currently the criteria is become a lawyer Kiss the right political butt and your selected.
I believe the President can pardon whomever he wants. Didn't Obama without asking a judge if it is okay to do so. Hell no. Judge has no respect for our President Trump and should be fired.
Obama had a law degree and could make an educated decision on a legal matter.
Trump has no such qualification.
Activist judges have no place in society.
This judge is an idealog and as such shouldn't be a judge at all.

Obama once complained that the Supreme Court shouldn't be able to overturn laws passed by the representatives of the people.
AND he supposedly taught Constitutional Law. AND was President at the time.
Obama's "law degree"? Must have been a minority contract award.
He also FLAUNTED enough laws to credibly say he didn't know jack about "the law".

A presidential pardon trumps the conviction, like a royal straight flush. I'm tired of these liberal judges reinterpreting the constitution.
