In the city of LaGrange, Georgia, an immigrant from Mexico lives with his young family. He’s been living there for 10 years. He’s a homeowner. He doesn’t have a green card, so he doesn’t have a Social Security number.
Without the Social Security number, the homeowner can’t get utility services in his name, even though he has a Mexican passport and an individual taxpayer identification number from the Internal Revenue Service. (To protect him, his lawyer does not want to disclose his immigration status.) The city, which is the sole provider of utilities, requires that anyone opening an account have two things: a Social Security number and a government-issued photo ID.
So the immigrant relies on a friend, who opens an account for the man in his own name. In doing so, both men risk being prosecuted for fraud.

Joe there is another shooting at the VFW on West Main Street in Salisbury, yes in the City Limits.
Central first advised Salisbury EMS to Stage. Then SPD advised Salisbury EMS to expedite to the scene.
Don't know how many patients at this time, but it sounds like at least one.
Squirrel 1 - Bryan Records is on the scene barking orders. He told Central to "advise PRMC that multiple citizens are enroute to their location."
Truck 1 responded from all the way across town.
Outside volunteer ambulance companies had to handle all outstanding calls in the city while fire trucks went on a medical assist to stand by for Paramedic A5. Not sure why the crews on the fire trucks couldn't take the second ambulances at their stations.
That's right didn't Jake Day tell everyone that crime is down 60% in the city at his State of the City Address!
(To protect him, his lawyer does not want to disclose his immigration status.)
Well Duh, that statement alone tells us he is illegal. Otherwise, what is there to fear? He would have a legit SS # if he were legal and then there wouldn't be a story.
His lawyer is an idiot.

This is also a lie. As long as the bill is paid they don't care who's name it is put in.
I live on a street that has a North and a South with the same numbers. Some idiot moved in to the south portion, and had my electric put in her name because she didnt know her address and the Delmarva Power didn't do their job. I had to fight with them to get it straightened out. Delmarva Power were complete a$$holes over the issue - even thought it was their fault for not getting the meter number, WHICH THEY ARE REQUIRED TO!
By legal standards, she took the legal obligation of paying my bill and DPL didn't care who's name it was in.
