This is County property and Day is really pushing buttons to no end. I have personally witnessed the Salisbury Fire Department parking in front of the GOB numerous times without ever getting a ticket. Officer Aaron Hudson, (Bull) was the Officer instructed to ticket the vehicles.
I'd say, bring on the nuclear option Jake. It's high time Executive Culver throw the City, (who hasn't paid rent or their fair share of expenses in 20 years) out of the building and put them on notice.

What if Allen had a fire? One of their Fire Engines is not present to serve because the were joy riding into the city.

What about every time you go to get your lunch instead of bringing it with you and eating at the station? What about every you ride to Acme to get your dinner or Food Lion? What about when you idiots drive like a maniac throwing kids off of the front bumper while running over them then sending him to Shock Trauma instead of PRMC?? Didn't that take crews out of service? Let me see here?? You had an ambulance, 2 fire trucks, 4 chiefs buggys, a helicopter, numerous police cars from the city, numerous county Deputies out of their districts for 4 hours or more?? What if someone else had an emergency and there were no responders to help on Sunday! Think about it before you run your mouths. You nearly killed a young cadet and then you took numerous people out of service including the mayor, sheriff and fire chief. What if there was another emergency in Salisbury. A request was put in for volunteers to back fill the stations so there was no response after multiple attempts. What if my triplets who are toddlers were trapped in a house fire and their was no one to help rescue them. What if my 65 year old mother went into Cardiac Arrest and there was no one to respond and my family dies. You people from Salisbury need to get your acts together before you start running your mouths.
The irony to this is the fact that Jake Day new these volunteers were going to be at the County Council meetings to support the Station #1 volunteers and Jake Day new it. Jake Day also knew the County volunteers were going to complain about Jake Day holding up the Senator Amoss Fund also known as 508 money. These officers were sent tho the Wicomico County Government Office building to harass and ticket these volunteer firefighters out of spite. Shame on Bull, Shame on Barb Duncan, Shame on Left Wing Nut Sack Jake Day for making these officers write tickets. They are losers from the word go! I too have seen multiple fire trucks from Salisbury Fire Department on multiple occasions and they weren't ticked. Shame on those idiots.

This is a purely political move by our pathetic Mayor, Jake Day and our illustrious Chief of
Police, Barbara Duncan. Now I have been personal witness to pissing contests between police and fire departments as well as between two police agencies. It's not pretty and it's the public who suffers. Jake Day has stirred up enough crap with wanting to move a state history marker mentioning a Confederate General. I guess as an Army Captain is intimidated by a dead General, who had also been a US Army Officer. I would be too considering how much of a black eye the Army of the Potomac was given by the Army of Northern Virginia.
Now if he didn't stir up enough hate and bickering over a sign, now he wants to start a war with the fire companies. Now they can spend time colluding with each other how to piss off the fireman who split with the SFD several months ago. That's all this incident over a parking ticket was tonight, just to see how he can rub the firemans faces in it. To exercise his pathetic leadership skills.
Now they can spend time pissing off fireman to make a point but they are doing little to stem the flow of drugs, violence and flagrant dangerous traffic violations by dirt bikes and 4 wheelers running rampant on city streets. The Chief bears much of this burden by not focusing sufficient manpower to address this threat to lives and property. She further bears the burden of maintaining a No Persuit Policy thus enabling these reckless drivers to continue down the road without the threat of persuit. She needs to suck it up and let her officers the latitude to do their job and get these people off the roads.
If the Mayor and the Chief cannot spend their time catching those who threaten the lives and property of their citizens, then it's time for both of them to go. Remember the power of the ballot box.

He claimed to be with the Social Justice Warriors and threatened the council with bringing the Pheonix Youth Project and a group out of Alabama to threaten and intimidate the county councilmen until they take down General Winder and put up a Lynching monument. When the Rabbi was speaking they were arguing back and forth with him and very rude to say the least. Please do a story on that meeting with the hostile and racist group that I saw on Pac 14.

Yes Barrie Tilghman was bad, very bad. Then we had Boi Mare 1 and he was bad. Look what he did with Debbie Campbell and his supporters. He turned his back on most of them and then jumped in bed with his haters.
Then Boi Mare 1 got Jake Day to run against Debbie Campbell to get rid of her. Then it went to Jake Day's head and he bumped Boi Mare 1 out of the picture and took over as Boi Mare 2. Jim Ireton created Boi Mare 2 so Jake is the problem.
Now we have Boi Mare 2 who doesn't want to work out a solution. He wants to fight the County Executive and the Station 1 volunteers, now he just screwed over the county volunteers with these tickets and I have a feeling that isn't going to go over to well. He thinks he is the most important person in Wicomico County and he is not. It's time to put his political career to bed.

It's time for Bob Culver to find some balls and tear up the fire service agreement and start all over. Create a County wide fire department and cover the calls in the county area. Then start employing the volunteer departments with career drivers to help the vollies.
I encourage these fire departments to take the tickets to court and challenge the city. I am sure you will win and a good judge will tell the pathetic Keystone Kops that the need to find something better to do. There are many judges that hate the city cops and their petty traffic tickets.

He gets on Facebook and laughs at the volunteer firemen from Station 1 when seeing and praising negative comments being posted from Bryan Records and Jimmie Gladwell and then he wants to get Detective Jason King fired for making several comments about the paid firemen getting to sleep at night while working and getting paid. Detective King doesn't believe the paid firemen in Salisbury don't deserve to be in the Law Enforcement retirement plan and now Jake Day is working on getting him fired.
So any harm coming to Jake Day is well deserved. Not his children or his wife, just him. Do unto others.

8:12, There are NO parking spaces Downtown for vehicles that large, period. Imagine taking a large motor home or trailer into Downtown, where would you park. Considering these are emergency vehicles and they were parked in an emergency vehicle only area, I'd say they were legal.
Perhaps the Sheriffs Department should follow every fire department apparatus and ticket them for crossing double yellow lines, not using their signals, exceeding the speed limit and the list could go on and on. Karma is a bitch.

It's amazing the amount of trouble and controversy that a bunch of t shirt wearers who couldn't be firemen where they were have stirred up.
They fail where they are, don't train, don't respond and just generally do the complete opposite of serving their community. They end up throwing their little tantrum, get kicked out of the SFD (absolutely the right move) and then go crying to start their own little fire company. Which, by the way, is conveniently located WITHIN the area served by the SFD and located where they would have to PASS one of those staffed SFD stations to get to their supposed territory if granted to them.
All of this of course after a few realerts, if they get out at all. More than likely the SFD would end up responding anyway, just much later after the 13 bunch scratch. They have openly admitted this and the fact that they are okay with the public having to wait for them if they are given a territory or Station where they currently don't now speaks volumes about where their priorities lie. Its also okay with them and the county fire departments as long as the SFD is the only department giving up anything. Fruit land, parsonsburg or Hebron lose territory to 13? No way, they say that isn't fair.
They just want to serve they say, even when they clearly haven't been when they had the opportunity.
They don't deserve the title of firefighter or fire company. They don't deserve territory or a station. The taxpayers don't deserve to have to foot the bill for these renegades to have a playhouse. Damn if this crap hasnt gone on long enough.

They request 408000 according to the council. That area has roughly 130 calls a year . That's 3100 dollars per call. Now factor in the published rate onfailure to respond over the last 3 yrs at 58%. So that's 75 calls a year thy won't run or can't run or fail to respond on. So now they run 55 of those calls a year, for 408000 dollars. That jacks it up to 7400 dollars per call to run calls there that the county residents would be footing the bill for. Simply not fiscally responsible now factor the quality of service. Just not good sense. it's a tragic waste of the county's money and the tax payers funds. Time to end it now hopefully it does

This in fact did happen. I was told by an MSP Trooper friend of Bull's that said he was ordered to issue these citations by both the mayor and chief of police. They knew that the former Station 1 volunteers were going to be at the meeting in their fire trucks by a paid member of the Salisbury Fire Department. Word gets around pretty quick at the fire department so that mole tipped off Jake Day who ordered the citations. Then when Jake Day heard it mentioned on Pac 14 he got scared.
I hope fat chuck and his son lose their business, they have been nothing but trouble in the fire service of Salisbury.
