Maryland leaders weigh in on decision to rescind DACA
BALTIMORE —Maryland's Congressional delegation weighed in on the decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday morning announced that DACA "is being rescinded."
Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md., ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said Trump's decision to end DACA inexplicably upends American values by ripping apart families of 800,000 DREAMers.
He issued the following statement in response to Tuesday's announcement:

Hogan and Harris had good responses - Obama's implementation was illegal and the legislators should fix it!
Frosh was whining!
illegal,pleaselook it up
cardin, you need to go away
Cardin is out of touch if he thinks the negative aspects of what these illegals bring with then out weigh any benefit. And on top of it all we foot the entire bill for them to be here. They atent paying taxes but i bet they use our entitlement programs.
Dreamers didn't break the law, their parents did. They are victims that deserve compassion.
There is no question that Obama’s DACA program violated the Constitution.
That’s why so many Trump supporters are happy that the DOJ officially announced today that DACA would be scrapped and Congress would be tasked with figuring out the next step.

What's lost on everyone, including the hysterical left, is that Donald Trump ending DACA is the executive branch relinquishing power it took from congress and returning it where it belongs. How is this not seen as an act of executive humility and fidelity to the sovereign people and the states?
They should be ecstatic, not acting like hysterical children that didn't get their way.
Nice to know our state leadership encourages unconstitutional behavior and the rule of law.
But they're still here illegally. They should be deported but allowed to apply for residency/citizenship through legal channels and barring any criminal background, their applications be looked upon favorably.
"They should be deported..."
...to a place that they have never been before.
They are not our "leaders" they are our "representatives"
Trump can offer the Dems a deal. Upon completion of the southern border wall, he will allow the DACA children permanent residency as long as they do not commit any crimes while living in America.
No families will be ripped apart. That is how stupid Cardin is. The complete family is illegal along with their extended family. That means all should be deported so no family will be ripped apart since they all will be deported together. They all are lawbreakers.
Illegal aliens PERIOD
