Hit and Run involving a Pedestrian

The Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack is currently investigating a hit and run motor vehicle collision which occurred on Tuesday evening, September 5th, 2017 at 10:50 p.m. According to witnesses and the victim, a black Mazda passenger vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking on Somerset Ave in the area of UMES Blvd in Princess Anne, Maryland. After the collision the black Mazda passenger vehicle fled the scene. The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries, was transported by Princess Anne EMS to PRMC and has been identified as Dwight Nichols 3rd, 19 years old from Princess Anne Maryland. Was the walker in the road or not? They spent a ton of money on sidewalks here.

Well I am certainly glad this young man was not seriously injured but yes it does say he was walking ON Somerset Ave. As state above a lot of money is spent on sidewalks so use them.
