Horses Need Prayers – Please Monitor Them Closely For River Rot

Rescue teams are doing an amazing job rescuing the horses and livestock stranded in the Hurricane Harvey floods. The aftermath of this hurricane may be even scarier than the hurricane itself. Horses that stand in water for days can suffer massive dermal damage. River Rot can develop much faster than you expect. They are from the 2016 Louisiana Floods. These horses received the proper medical attention and we can all learn from it.

Basically the same as trench foot. A horrible condition, whether man or beast.

So many things yet to come that the
animal and people will have to endure.
Much more than we, who are safe/sound
can ever imagine.

Thank goodness this animal is getting
help. I hope all that are affected
will also.
