Dallas School District Weighing Renaming Schools Named After Franklin, Jefferson And Madison Photo of Peter Hasson PETER HA

Dallas Independent School District included schools named after three of America’s Founding Fathers on a list of schools that the district is exploring renaming.

The DISD administration has already recommended renaming four schools named after Confederate generals, including Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. The district is conducting additional research on whether to rename at least 20 other schools named after historical figures. The list of schools, posted by DISD board member Dustin Marshall on Facebook Saturday night, includes schools named after Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.

What are they going to do change all these names to Mexican names to support illegal immigration?

Since most public schools are failing students lets name the all after BHO after his failed presidency.

I can not wait until the civil war starts and I hope all these liberals who have changed names of our heroes are the first ones eradicated.

Just name them after colors and be done with it. Whoops, can't do that either. How about just numbering them instead. No, can't do that, because some are unlucky. How about Nobel laureates? Nope, because there are too many racists among them. Tree names? Flower names? Anything considered will have backlash.

Sounds like they need an elected school board. That's the kind of crap politically appointed school boards do when they don't have to answer to the voters.
