Arlene Barnum, a black veteran, is touring cemeteries across the South to place Confederate flags on the grave sites of soldiers who died fighting for what they believed in, and she doesn’t plan on letting up any time soon, KWTV reports.
Before the Labor Day weekend Barnum made a stop at her local Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma to pay homage to those who fought for the Confederacy and offered her thoughts on the current movement to erase that history.
“Most of the white people are afraid of being called racist. And I let them know that’s their personal problem, but I don’t have that issue,” Barnum said. “And I’m not going to tuck and run.”

I guess we should go planting Nazi Germany flags over the graves of their soldiers who also died fighting for what they believed in. Not comparing the confederate flag to the nazi flag, simply pointing out the parallel in that line of logic.
Anon 8:04 AM: if that is what the people of Germany want to do then that is their prerogative. The last that I heard, the Nazi's were not American's.
This lady is a great American who understands that our history is just that, our history. Right, wrong or indifferent, it needs to be preserved for all future generations to learn from and to let our society know (as a whole) just how far we've come from those dark times.

On a side note, there is no fault in her logic, there is nothing wrong with placing flags on peoples graves who fought for what they believe... Even if it was to be put on nazi graves too... It is just that there are or were some sick minded people out there who wanted war simply so they could kill someone or do harm or take something from someone else...
You may not like what she is doing or for the reason why she does it, but at least she stands up for and puts action behind what she does and believes, the rest of you clowns just run your mouth complaining about things instead of making change... Then try to smack talk badly about the ones who will stand up like this woman...

very smart lady. Pay attention. Most of the times its not Blacks that are complaining about the Monuments, flags etc. Its white people for the most part. racists trying to act like they are not, and worse. Anti-American. the true Nazi's if you want to refer somebody as a Nazi, its these communists that hate America and thinks that She needs to be brought to her knees, We are to arrogant and robbed and stole everything we have,the income inequality, entitlement, free free free and give me give me give me, take take take mind sets and are just keeping the race baiting alive to divide and conquer.
