A Viewer Writes: Dead Prairie Dogs?

Do the Prairie Dogs even exist anymore? Only thing in their pit are 2 dead branches? Did they all die in the last flood? Has anyone seen a prairie dog since the last flood?

Publishers Notes: Yes, they are all dead. While the City & Zoo publicly stated no animals died in the last storm, they lied and always do. The Prairie Dogs go under ground and unfortunately their burrows collapse. There is a specific type of soil they are supposed to be using but to save time and especially money the Idiots at the Zoo add sand to their soil, eliminating any stability and they die.

Then take the sign down because it is not like you can reuse this area for new prairie dogs.

well, now I'm depressed. Way to go, zoo.

Seems to me if you have any common sense at all, they would have been kenneled or something if they knew it was going to flood. This is deplorable treatment to cause their deaths this way.

Good lord. I'm ok with virtually everything written here, but this is too much. My grandkids and I were there Saturday and the prairie dogs were my grandson's favorite animal. They were all fine this weekend. Did they die in the last 2 days? This is a bit silly. I want to believe what's written here in other stories, and this stuff makes it hard to keep coming back.
