Crazy people

I hope the police actually do their job on this...I live right by the by pass and not only are the tourist ignorant and disrespectful but the everyday locals act like they are on the DC beltway and have no patients respect or compassion for their local community and people..... Respect goes both ways

Good thing crimes down. Mayor Jake Day swears to it at least

Where is Mike Lewis when this stuff is happening on the bypass?

Anonymous said...

Limelight Lewis and his henchmen are too busy writing tickets to honest working people that are late to work and speed a little or roll through a stop sign. tHey like to hide behind trees and building to be extra sneaky. Even the church on Rockawalkin took the trees down in their parking lot because WCSO used them to hide behind on a daily basis.

What? So police should pull people over for breaking traffic laws? Thanks for explaining how it works. If you want the law changed, call your rep in Annapolis. Don't be upset because a man is doing his job.

Anonymous said...

Dear 7:37
Mike Lewis can't be around every crime before it happens, your such an idiot.
Dear 7:47
Don't break the law , then you won't be so critical. It's their job to write tickets , they are paid to do this you jerk.

A license plate number is clearly visible. Why can't an arrest be made from the attached picture and video?

Anonymous said...

When the police are on the bypass, you say, "why aren't they on Church Street or policing the s curve?" But when they aren't right at the place of a crime on the bypass at the exact time of the crime, you wonder, "where are the police when this happens?
They're everywhere with fewer resources and numbers than any police department with our violent crime rate.
Feel free to disagree with the mayor but don't attack him personally. No wonder kids have cyber bullying problems; they get it from their ignorant parents.

6 more weeks and the majority of the IDIOTS from the west side of the Bay Bridge will be back to work or their kids in school. The eastern shore becomes ours again!! Hibernation will be over and a grrrrrrrrrrreat Sept/Oct is coming!!!!!!

Patience!

State Road. Where are the State Police.

When will people smarten up? LEO cannot be in all places at all times. LEO solves crimes after the fact.

These videos are a true example of "See something, say something" I hope someone on the by-pass at that time called 911 or LEO with car tag # and description. Why do people take time to complain - a day later - on a blog - about LEO, who cannot be in all places at all times ?

Anonymous said...

AMEN !!!

Anonymous said...

AGREE with you, as do all with common sense. Joe sure has a great number of "no common sense" readers who love to blame LEO with crime. Here is a clue - Crimes should be blamed on person committing the crime, not on LEO who has the dangerous job of gathering up the criminal, after breaking the law IMO even a traffic stop (which occurs AFTER a law is broken) can be dangerous. You fools should be saying "Thank you Jesus" for providing Blues to protect your butt.

Beware the sneaky quota snake that hides in the bushes at the stop sign at the end of Pemberton drive on Marshall's nursery property. What a joke. Your mom must be proud.

7C3897 Maryland tag. I wonder who has that tag #?

Explain to this common sense country boy how you can condemn the Police for not stopping crime because they are not in the right place at the right time or criminals are smarter than some of these comments and don't commit crimes in the Polices face while they are watching, but you don't observe and collect info then contact them with good info of crime? Then you complain when they utilize their surroundings and undercover tactics to assist them in enforcing the laws you are complaining about them not seeing. Which way do you want it, Police doing the best they can with not enough Officers to be everywhere all the time or ignoring problems / situations that I have observed by the SPD on several occasions? The Police need good information from citizens ASAP after the crime so they can go on the offense / defense in finding the perpetrators and get them off the streets. The Police are not your keepers. They are your partners who has the job of doing the dangerous / dirty work for the public to keep us safe.

Anonymous said...

Looks like you were not acting responsibly when you tried to follow him. Just get the damn license number and report. You and the other driver could have caused an accident.

Anonymous said...

If you watch your speed you will have no need to beware of the sneaky quota snake that hides in the bushes at the stop sign at the end of Pemberton drive on Marshall's nursery property. What a joke !!! - nope - you are the joke oh wise one -
as it is better to not speed in the first place, instead of speeding and having an accident while looking for LEO everywhere and not keeping your eyes on the road. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it.

Unknown said...

As if speeding and running red lights and stop signs aren't dangerous. Really? Maybe, someone should give themselves plenty of time before work to get there on time. It was turned over to the police and a report has been filed.

Anonymous said...

They can not legally shot radar from private property without the owners permission in the state of Maryland, most people don't know this and just pay the ticket so they keep doing it!

Unknown said...

I'm sure their mother is proud. I know if my son becomes a police officer I would be proud. Don't break the law and you wouldn't have a damn issue.

Anonymous said...

The people who did the video are at fault also , things hanging from your mirror is illegal , blocks your vision . Just a reminder , call the state police.

Anonymous said...

8:36 Why do you need to call people names? Not smart enough to have a conversation based on opposing view points? The fact is that Limelight Lewis and the WCSO go after the easy targets that have no choice but to pay a ticket. Should people speed, no. Should they not come to a complete 3 second stop at a stop sign on a country road where it is evident that there are no other vehicles at the intersection, no. Why aren't they hiding in the bushes and busting open air drug sales? Why aren't they chasing down thugs on 4 wheelers and dirt bikes riding illegally on the roadways? Those people don't pay their tickets and fines. BTW, no axe to grind here. Have not had a ticket in 25+ years, but I see what goes on around here.

Where is Mike Lewis when this stuff is happening on the bypass?

July 23, 2017 at 7:37 AM

I know for a fact Mike Lewis is on this personally.

Anonymous said...

On the Harley protecting OC? Personally, really? The tag number is on the video. I bet Limelight Lewis has not personally run a tag in 10 years or more and is not even familiar with the new software.

@9:36am. He is hiding in the bushes at the nursery and there are criminals all around him. But he goes after U.S. citizens???? That nursery hires many, many illegals. They can break the law but we cannot?????? What an azz.

If they shot a speed camera they would be in real trouble.

Hi....PLEASE think of this.....Grandmom here. Thank goodness they didn't shoot my car because I would have be so frightened I would have driven off the road and up a tree....or possibly into another car. It could have been a homicide if it had been me. It is bad enough that anyone should have to endure this ...but PLEASE...remember we boomers are out there in great numbers and in my case some times with a childseat in the back. It is all fun and games with paint until you hit MY CAR. I hope the POLICE will take this view and do something to punish these children/would be criminals.

Boomer

Sad part is these kids might point that realistic looking gun at someone whom can and will point a real one back at them in self defense.....this could be devastating to alot of lives. What if the guy being shot at had swerved hard causing multiple car accident...its a serious offense to even throw something at a vehicle...

Anonymous said...

The tag is visible, the make of vehicle is visible & the video clearly shows a crime with intent to harm. What are the police doing? Busy writing state money making seat belt tics. If this was a police officers family member who was attacked on the bypass, oh, it'd be a shit storm coming. This video is disturbing on so many levels. What if they struck a motorcyclist at 65? Or an elder person who would be startled and cause a major accident? NO Laughing matter SPD!

Anonymous said...

DO NOT RE ELECT Fake Lewis.

Anonymous said...

I didn't realize it was a paint guy....I thought it was real at first glance and just shot back. NOW...who do you charge? I for one hope this shows up as an arrest on the evening news.

Anonymous said...

Has anyone sent this to the police yet?

Anonymous said...

2:09 Everyone was waiting for you to do it.

Anonymous said...

Did the driver call police, or just post the video?

Anonymous said...

For crying out loud, never call the police.
You may end up shot or in jail.

Anonymous said...

They should have their drivers licenses revoked for 5 years; charged with assault with a deadly weapon and destruction of property.

Hopefully the driver doesnt get charged with holding his cell phone while driving.

Maryland State Police are looking for a person who was allegedly shooting a paintball gun at another car on July 21, officials said.

Sgt. Mark Conte said it is an open investigation and no suspect has been found. The incident was reported in Salisbury on White Lowe Road and Route 50 near the Royal Farms, he said.

Jonathan Machin posted videos and a photo on Facebook of the incident around 7:30 p.m. July 21. The videos show Machin's car being hit with paintballs and a passenger of the car in the lane beside Machin sticking their head out of a backseat window.

Anonymous said...

"No suspect has been found". Wtf you have the make model color and tag number of the vehicle so what's the problem ??

Anonymous said...

I figured for sure if the person who shot the video sent it to police they'd get a ticket for using a cell phone while driving and ignore the paintball shooting.

Anonymous said...

But the MSP and WCSO wrote many speeding tickets today. You are better off using a website that charges $30 to run tag and dealing with the issue personally. LEO will take a report and forget about it.

Anonymous said...

4:26- tags numbers do not prove who was in the rear passenger seat. Its a lead, but without victim identification of the shooter or his name given up by the registered owner, this case will not be solved.

Anonymous said...

Looks like a dude with a wig.

Anonymous said...

I bet if the registered owner would give up the passenger while sitting in the WCDC. Don't try to be Perry Mason.

Wonder if the idiot who made a comment about SPD realizes that in no way, shape, or form is even 1 inch of the bypass within SPD jurisdiction? To the person wondering where Sheriff Lewis and the WCSO were, why don't you talk to your county council? They're the ones who cut 5 police cars from the budget despite them having vehicles still in service with over 200,000 miles on them. All so they could plant a big wet kiss on the Board of Ed's backside.

You must be that idiot since the bypass does fall into city boundaries. Whether they patrol it or not is another matter.

Not Jake Day. Actually, I am a conservative woman who disagrees with The mayor on many things. I don't, however, call him a "boy" or disparage him personally.
i am wary of any citizen who personally attacks a politician or can only find negative things to say. The man wants to do a good job for the city. Be constructive and be a grown up.
