Always regretted never seeing the Man in Black. His last album was so good. I've heard three of songs on movie trailers so far just this year. Missing ole Ziggy Stardust too.
We glorify these people for their musical talent but we often neglect to acknowledge their drug addiction downfalls. I know that several of them were killed by other means, but what could have become of them had they not been involved with drugs?
Freddie Mercury! Best friend in high school was a HUGE Queen fan. I never really "got them" to be honest but then he bought me a ticket to go see them at Wembly Stadium. It was phenomenal and Mercury was simply mind blowing...a ponce, granted...but what a talent.
Anyone but Cobain. If he was alive today he'd be a consummate snowflake. "I wanna be rich and famous....waaaah I can't handle the fame and the pressure...BOOM" What a wanker.
2:06 pm you are wrong, Lennon loved Reagan and capitalism but look what he had to deal with and look what media reported on him. They couldn't have his real thoughts out there.
But here are my pics because the way things are today some of these artists would not want to perform for this country for the world. Liberalism is trying to screw up free expression.
The greatest drummer of all time - John Henry Bonham. I would love to see the Mighty Zeppelin back in action. Their last concert ever performed together was July 7th, 1980 in Berlin, Germany - coming up on 37 years ago next Friday!
The last I would bring back would be Johnny Cash. That dude didn't sing, talked. I wouldn't cross the street to see him if he were in my neighbors garage.
It was Cobain who said in an interview back in the mid nineties that it was going to take a man like Donald Trump to straighten out our country. He was more intuitive than you think.

Torn between Marley and Lennon. I didn't appreciate Marley when he was alive and Lennon was just really beginning to come into his own, post Beatles.
Cash, if he could be as he was in his prime. Last 10 yrs, not so much.
None of the above........but definitely Jerry Garcia and now Gregg Allman.
Jah, bring back the Rasta Man

I was lucky enough to see him in '81 in the Garden and I would love to see him again.
