NASA Wallops Flight Facility Summer Events

Discover the night sky from Assateague Island! The event will begin with auditorium presentations followed by stargazing with telescopes and binoculars (weather permitting).

(Limited space available; first come first serve; rain or shine)

Night Sky Observations through telescopes and binoculars at the north end of Parking Lot #1
(Subject to cancellation due to inclement weather; refuge closes at 10 p.m.)

Discover interesting facts about the Sun, learn how eclipses work, and find out where and how to safely view the Great Eclipse of 2017. 

This lecture, presented by the Delmarva Space Sciences Foundation is suitable for the novice and people with a background in astronomy and space sciences.
