Sort of.
The Indiegogo fundraiser asked for a “flexible” amount of donations totaling $50k, but ultimately fell about $44k short of their ambitious goal.
The “gym’s” description reads:
“In the wake of the election of Donald Trump and the emboldened far right, Haymaker: Popular Fitness & Self-Defense is bringing free martial arts training to Chicago for anyone who wants to learn self-defense. We are a new type of fitness center, based upon the principles of autonomy, strength, and solidarity.”More

Chicago yeah right,if you are going to defend your self in Chicago you better have a 9mm and a bullet proof vast.
Pfft.
lmao. I was just reading and commenting about this on FB. I sent them a video of obammy working out and told them he was their mentor. I know some girls who could kick their asses. Matter of fact, they act more like girls than men.
They start all the crap, assault people, mostly Trump supporters, and then wonder why most don't like them.
Aside from them being hysterical, they are also scary. That is the next generation of "men" coming up in this country. Lord help us if we ever have to depend on them to defend this country. I don't think our enemies would go to a Starbucks with them and talk things over with a latte.
Go ahead, bring a hands to a gun fight. My money will be on guns 100% of the time
This is no weirder than right wing malitias forming in the backwoods somewhere and arming themselves and practicing gun play.... yet, somehow... the armed folks seem a bit scarier....
Just another scam to get suckers to give them money..
Uh huh.
The English called Jefferson and Washington similar names.
Now, they call us "Americans".
So, 8:21, when TSHTF, NONE of these wanna-be Bruce lee's are going to save you.
But people like me will see a gang of thugs getting ready to invade your home and cut them in half from 300 yards away.
Looks like, to me, they are in the standard liberal position. Which might bring them pleasure, but it ain't saving them. Or you.
Is there a line behind them???
I'll stick with my glock.

only scary to people like you I would bet. Most, if not all, who "practice gunplay" know their weapons and their own abilities. Personally, I would prefer one of those "backwoods" practitioners to be by my side that a hundred of these man-child's that can't do a single push-up.
And they don't want the police or right-wing (whatever they said) to join them? Yeah, I would be embarrassed by the presence of real men too if I was one of them.
