There are good landlords and there are bad landlords. It's too bad that that there are so many of the bad ones. Salisbury, where rentals make up something like 80% of residences, suffers from the same thing.

They've taken a premise and given one sided, slanted view of the issue.

I have watched all the negative renter comments on here and laugh. Because they are only coming from 20% of the population.

If this were any other REAL metropolitan community no one would care. In areas like NYC renting it expected.

Only here in the small minded community of the ghettobury are renters smeared.

What an embarrassing shameful image of this community. But it certainly matches label this community has earned. Gossipy, closed and small minded.

8:10 AM Looks like they have a lot of facts to support (as you put it) their one sided, slanted view.

There are houses for sale under $40K in salisbury. 30 year mortgage even for 100% at 5% is 316.00 per month. Add $200 for taxes/ins. About $500/month to own. Renters paying $1000/month need $2-3k to move in if paying first month/security and some slumlords want last month's rent too. Tired of hearing how high rent is. Buy a house if you don't want to rent. Most are too lazy to be home owners and don't want to responsible adults.

Read all about the Kushner family of slumlords in Baltimore County. The article was in the NYT Times magazine this past Sunday.
