How many rapes was it?
Why isn't the local media reporting this? Many older people do not use the internet for their news, they either still read the paper or watch is on their televisions. Everyone needs to know about the real statistics of the crime and violence in Salisbury.
I don't get why SU's funding can dictate what makes the news and what doesn't. Doesn't they mayor want to keep all residents of this city safe? That starts by keeping people informed. Shame on WBOC & WMDT. Thank you SBYNEWS for keeping us all in the loop.
Funny you mention the elderly 114pm. They are the majority of the population still here in the USA but our LAME STREAM media don't "git" it at all.
I cringe when I see a story on the local (OR national news) and as I get interested they say: "...for more on this story, turn to our website at YUCKYUCKYUCK.com.." then jam more Johnny Janosik commercials ad nauseum!
No Jake doesn't care about the average citizen,it's all about the college,parents find out about all the crime their not going to pay for there kids to go to school here,then all the slumlords around here go broke because then they have to charge reagular rent prices,just go online and look at the high rent prices around here,normal people with real jobs can't afford that,they have four different college kids living in one house paying 600$ for a Room,so no Jake does not care

Yep, off Dykes Road. Many police and fire responses to that location. At least it's in the Ghetto Limits, I mean City Limits of Salisbury.

Considering only one in every nine rapes are actually reported to the authorities, eight rapes probably occurred that we don't even know about. People, wake up. Salisbury is having a serious issue. This is like one reported rape every 7-9 days in Salisbury. Don't you think this is a problem? Seriously.
Winterborn Lane is not section 8 housing community. It is a tax credit affordable apartment complex. The rent is not income based.
