On April 5, 2017 at approximately 4:31pm a Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Deputy observed a Gray Kia Optima fail to stop at the stop sign in the area of Young St. and Short St. in Pocomoke City, Worcester County, Maryland.
The Deputy initiated a traffic stop when the vehicle pulled into a residence driveway on 7th St. The passenger, identified as Eric Vincent Bishop (23) of Pocomoke immediately exited the vehicle and took off running on foot.
Another Deputy and a Pocomoke City Officer in the area located Mr. Bishop approximately a block away when Mr. Bishop took off running again. After a brief foot pursuit Mr. Bishop was placed under arrest. The Deputies located approximately 20 grams of suspected cocaine and a loaded handgun.
Bishop was charged with CDS-Not Marijuana, CDS-Paraphernalia, CDS- Intent to distribute within 1,000feet of a School, CDS- Intent to Distribute,
Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Drug Trafficking Crime,
CDS Distribution with Possession of Firearm, Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Handgun on Person.
Mr. Bishop was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held without bond.

Glad they got him but how stupid do you have to be to run a stop sign and give them a reason to target you. Probably stupid enough to sling coke
