A professor who specializes in religious studies at University of California, Los Angeles says President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence represent “troubling trends in American Christianity.”
Professor Carla Pestana of UCLA published “Arrogant Christians In The White House” over the weekend for The Huffington Post, which warns of a future America shaped by the “fundamentalist Christian” views of Mr. Pence and Mr. Trump’s “self-indulgence.”
“Pence adheres to biblical literalism. Put simply, this view asserts that the Bible is a transparent document, one that prescribes specific behavioral guidelines,” Ms. Pestana wrote Saturday. “Its arrogance lies in the hubris of those who believe that only their chosen answers are correct. Its potential to harm others comes when adherents gain political power and force their mandates on nonbelievers. One of the many dangers emanating out of the Trump White House is the power of Pence to impose not his religion but the behaviors his religion dictates onto the rest of us.”

The professor is a bigot.
Well who does this guy think he is... an expert in religion? Oh wait, yes he is. Yep, that's exactly what he is, and he is exceptionally more qualified to form an opinion about this than the overwhelming majority of people.
I happen to agree with his conclusions.
God said to go forth and spread the gospel to the ends of the earth. And God is still in control.
He's a traitor. Take care of that problem appropriately.

I think he's referring to the people who were advocating letting men go into the little girls room and were excoriating everyone who disagreed with them as small minded bigots, homophobes, etc. They are positive they are correct.
Pretty much everything the liberals stand for is backed up by their unyielding belief that anyone who doesn't believe exactly the same is a (pick one) racist, misogynist, bigot, uneducated redneck, or any of the many derogatory names used to shout down any opposition.
As long as it is HIS viewpoint and behaviors being shoved down everyone else's throats, he's cool.
But, like all liberals, he HATES it when he doesn't get his way. At least, all he did was write something. He could have followed the lead of so many of his sympathizers --- burn some buildings, torch a cop car, drag people from their cars and beat them, loot neighborhoods and such.
Because they are so tolerant of other opinions and viewpoints.

The Muslims want to take over America and they are on the way to doing just that. In my opinion we are better off with Christian Americans that love our country and our freedoms and are fighting to keep our freedoms. Don't know what you learned in school. But this country was founded on Christian principles. And back before Obama and all the liberal one worlders started screwing up our country things were a lot better. Just saying snowflake stupidity seems to be the order of the day.
This professor is a woman Carla Pestana. I would like to know who she calls "Arrogant Christian" since I have never met any, or even heard of one. Did she find some angry Christian men & women wearing suicide vests loaded with explosives, blowing up buildings or driving trucks into crowds of innocent people. Do any of those "angry Christians" do hacking and chopping off heads of those "peacefull" Muslims around the world? But as a typical Liberal useful idiot "professor" spewing hateful propaganda like "Oh No, those Trump and Pence are really dangerous to you, trust us, Democ-rats, we know what's best for y'all"
UCLA should be ashamed of themselves of having this person employed there and being called professor.
