Both houses of the North Carolina General Assembly voted in favor of a bill on Thursday that would repeal the controversial law affecting transgender bathroom use in public buildings, part of a compromise worked out earlier in the week between Republican legislative leaders and the Democratic governor.
But with anger rising over the compromise from groups on both the left and the right, it was unclear whether the anticipated signing of the new bill into law would extricate North Carolina from the roiling national controversy over the proper levels of legal protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.

Disgusting the way these so-called legislators caved in to some bullying organizations like the NCAA and the NBA. North Carolina bathrooms are once again Unsafe for our Wives and Daughters, with all of the sick perverts who will be peeping on them once again. I will not be taking my Wife and Daughters to this Sick State, and if I have drive through, there are No Stops between Virginia and South Carolina!
I will be using the ditches in NC when I pass through thank you.
I wish someone would come forward as to who is putting so much pressure on people to conform to tranny's. It makes no sense that an entire country can be held hostage like this.
