Not surprising this isn't included in the City of Salisbury statistics. There seems to be a lot of crime on Salisbury University campus which doesn't get told to the community. Surprised this is on SU's website. Shocked actually because it doesn't look good for the school.
So Mayor Jake Day LIED again yesterday. Ocean City had 14 rapes last year and Jake claimed Salisbury had 12. If you take the average, (since SU hasn't reported for 2016) Salisbury has more rapes then Ocean City and there's a LOT of drinking in Ocean City, if you get my drift.
The city of salisbury and the mayor are doing this on purpose to NOT ALERT SU parents but this town is going to get hit with a MASSIVE lawsuit when a student ends up dead from salisbury changing the crime stats to less offences than what they are the feds need to invistigate this town ASAP and start locking up officials .
Truly FUBAR!
SUPD is a joke anyway. Majority of their officers are Leo's who couldn't cut it at a real police force. Hard to solve crimes while asleep in the Church parking lot out of camera view.
The last time I checked "Salisbury" University was inside the city limits of the City of Salisbury and much of it is covered by the Salisbury Police Department.

You are absolutely correct. I know many City PD officers that left to go where the job was easy. Can't really blame them, but it's a fact.
I want to know why Salisbury University police officers refuse to assist in Mutual Aid with Salisbury, Wicomico County and MSP when needed. If they want to pretend they are real police officers then they need to assist the surrounding agencies when needed.
Governor Hogan are you listening to what is going on with your beloved police agencies working for your State of Maryland? At least UMES PD assists surrounding agencies.
Nothing you say is going to change anything and they know it, because you will never move past your keyboard.
That is why you all are not a threat.
This is crazy. I would never send my kids to this so-called school that is really just one big rape waiting to happen. Well, maybe I'd send my boy there!
Colleges and universities are mandated to compile and post their crime stats. Not sure what the penalties are for inaccurate calculations.
