Being a "come here" we formerly lived in the snow belt of Ohio. Granted, when we got news of an impending storm we rushed to the store for essentials but with good reason. It snowed! Not uncommon for a good measurable accumulation but people knew how to handle it and the county and state crews were well prepared for it. The "Lake Erie effect" would cause massive amounts leading to disruptions and cancellations. You deal with it.
