That being said, something needs to be done about Matt Holloway rarely ever attending meetings any more. Not only that but Council Members are appointed to many different positions and committees. The mere fact that each candidate and ultimately Council Member knows they are to represent their district and what is required. Matt Holloway continues to distance himself from attending the majority of his responsibilities and is failing his district miserably. In fact, Matt wants to be Vice President this go around, yet he's rarely ever at a Council Meeting any more.
The Council needs to put in place language that states if you miss 6 meetings in one year, the Council has the right to consider replacing that Council Member. You are either in it for the people or you're not.

John Hall is a straight shooter with a long, long history of community service and selfless involvement. He's a no-bulls&1t kind of guy who doesn't suffer fools, a good choice for the next president of council.

Matt has always had an over active ego and believes he can do what he wants to get what he wants. He never has been for others. Get the language in the by-laws and get rid of ones like him ASAP.

Anyone but John Cannon. Are those idiots on the Council crazy for putting Cannon in there 2 years in a row and now considering him for a 3rd term as president. I say vote against anyone that supports John Cannon for president.

When Campbell was on city council, the mayors were Tilghman and Ireton, two of the worst mayors ever.
To Poster 2:27 - John Hall is one of the most lackadaisical politicians that I have ever witnessed. He argued for a raise - but when it came time to vote, he voted against it, only doing so to try and save face.
He often finds himself on the outside, pitting himself against many of the other County Council officials, even within his own registered party. He is often confused when he votes, not knowing exactly what he is voting for.
Nope, I have to staunchly disagree with your observation. I am 180 degrees in the opposite direction.

Joe Holloway is the best the county has ever had.
