I use it for the internet and was having problems with a couple days ago. There was a truck outside working on it. He said they were have problems in the area since Saturday.
I just have Comcast internet. I rid of the Cable a few years ago. I refuse to pay over a hundred dollars per month for cable! Most of the channels are trash, and quality of programming is poor with commercials! Between Delaware PBS, MPT, and all the local channels, I get over 15 channels now with my antenna free! The rest through my Roku box. I believe before too long, Cable and Satellite TV will be a thing of the past. This way you pay for what you want, and not what the cable and satellite company gives you.
Only use for internet. Generally have problems. Never get advertised speed. Lately the service has had continuing momentary cut outs. It'd be nice for them to get some competition.
ALWAYS having issues....tv programming freezes then resumes, same with the internet. Several folks on East side of Salisbury are experiencing trouble. Winter Place on Old Ocean City Road EAST
yep. called and they are backlogged for service calls. Phone is bad too. and, can anyone tell me why-after all the money we spent on maryland broadband project- why we, the public, have not benefitted yet? another promise not fullfilled.
I don't live in the area anymore but when I did, I found that the signal from Comcast was always weak(even though they would say the signal was fine). Especially in OC where I lived. When my cable box would get about 2 years old the picture on my TV would continually break up or freeze. After a couple of weeks I wound get tired of this and exchange my cable box(fortunately OC had a Comcast office). Then my picture would be fine for another couple of years. In 8 years in OC I went through 4 cable boxes and 2 modems. In OC in the summer the internet would be really slow then in the winter it would return to normal speeds. Comcast gets a lot of money from OC customers but doesn't upgrade their infrastructure.
My OnDemand didn't work for a couple of days. On our other box, it freezes up on the blue screen at least once a week. And always at important parts of a show.
YES!! We reset and reset and finally took the box in for a trade. It is never their problem....just ask them.
We are on the west side as well. Years ago...it use to be that whatever side of town you lived on you got commercials geared toward your side of town....race...etc. I wonder if they are still doing that?

Yeah, the worker told me interference from INSIDE my house was causing an interruption for others UPSTREAM.
Always have issues with comcast. Cable freezes, says box isn't authorized for service, on demand doesn't work, etc. Internet slows to a crawl, cuts out for no reason which in turn renders my phone unusable. Every call they say it's not their problem yet when a tech does come it's always comcast issue... boxes, lines, filters are bad etc. We need competitors for internet. I would switch to directv in a heartbeat if we could get Verizon internet.
My internet went off not to long ago. Looked outside and a Comcast guy was high tailing away from my box outside. Never came back on so I called and a another tech came out a few days later and said he fixed it. Another week or two goes by and the truck high tails it away again and no internet. Another tech and it's fixed again. What's wrong with there techs? Big dually truck comes by knocks you off little van comes and puts you back on, and so it goes on,off,on,off.
Received email from Comcast last month announcing new 200 mdps speed ... After several service calls I'm still getting from 3 to 6 mdps. Service calls are a joke.!! "google" "test internet speed" and test your speed and get an unpleasant surprise.
