A Comment Worthy Of A Post 12-12-16

Hey Joe, it's not fun being a county employee when your supervisors have meeting after meeting about what's on this blog. We have been told numerous times to not get caught screwing up and to watch our backs. I do my job the best I can. I don't drink or do drugs like a lot of my coworkers do but I'm thrown in the same bag as them. Wouldn't you think they (supervisors) would encourage more drug testing to eliminate problem employees instead of tipping them off when testing is about to happen. If that were to happen maybe most of our problems would go away and our bosses could also get some work done instead of watching this blog all day.

Employees being tipped off when drug testing is going to happen???? Absolutely, positively WRONG. What is wrong with you Culver??? Why is this happening??? Answers, Please!

Only the guilty would be watching this blog nervously! Reminds me of the Denton town cop years ago who said, "If you ain't speeding, it ain't a trap."

Same as the State. They promote their "Home Boys / Girls" and they protect each others back. They never promote the qualified only their "clicks" that enjoy the same recreation activities.

I have worked for the county for almost 2 decades and never heard such nonsense.
Sounds like a good old fashioned witch hunt to me.

Sounds like your HR department maybe the problem? No one even the director or supervisor of a department should know when testing is occurring.

5:09 you maybe part of the problem.

I can say this comment is 100% correct. Now we are going to have 2 or 3 Christmas parties on county time. Don't get me wrong, Christmas parties are usually a fun time, but I am also a taxpayer and there will be no work getting done. Therefore, I think most people would agree we should have our get togethers after hours.

Most of the people working here have absolutely nothing to do unless it snows. Our days are filled with driving in circles and hoping nobody notices. If nobody complains, all is good. Our crews probably won't put in a hard days work until world series rolls around in July

thinking about raking up a few leaves today at the complex after I go home and eat a porkchop sandwich

8:22 - If you have nothing to do but drive in circles. prove your actually one of the employees driving in those supposed circles and inform us. What was the last job that most of the crew got called back and/or had to put in overtime to work on?

If Klaus Meyer and Lorne Rickert knew what was going on today, they would be rolling over in their graves. How times have changed.

If any of you all would rather work for a living than sit around with your mouse in your in your hand all day (figuratively speaking),then come spend a day working with a county employee. I am willing to bet most can't put up with 45 degree temps , rain and a shovel in your hand!

I was thinking the same thing. 5:09 is a mole and defending Bob. Hell, Bob and A Kaye Kenny have been caught posting on this blog like that.

I'm sure that drunk Wayne Culver is always posting on here defending his job.

What happened to that "Bob Culver Holiday Drop In" that Bob Culver had at the Civic Center? What was the deal with the Alcohol?

Same thing as PRMC. Someone tips them off when they are about to be inspected.

Drug tests are ridiculous.Someone can smoke a joint in March and still test positive for it a month later! Not an issue to me.The really serious drugs that people NEED to worry about are out of your system in hours,a day or two at the most.
