It's pretty amazing that a county school system that's surrounded by food production and agriculture, and that has probably more than 400 restaurants in it came in dead last.
There's adequate money and food and there's lots of available talent to make the meals palatable and nutritious. What's the problem?

Wor.Their score was low due to the n for not applicable or not able to get the required data..I'm sure they aren't last.

So a 50% is a C+?? Only in education can you apply a "normal bell curve" to come to the conclusion that Wicomico's score (24/48) is satisfactory. No, 24/48 is failing. No Food Service Director should care that their score compares favorably to other mediocre and substandard operations. The students and families of Wicomico County shouldn't be fooled by the C+. I hope Central Office and the Board of Ed aren't either.
