On December 22, 2016 around 2:30 am the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office along with the Girdletree Volunteer Fire Company, Pocomoke City EMS responded to a motor vehicle crash on Onley Road, Girdletree Maryland.
Responding units located a 2003 Chevrolet that had left the road and overturned causing the driver to be ejected. The driver, Anthony Arsenault Jr. 37 of Pocomoke Md., was pronounced deceased on scene.
A passenger, Amy Lynn Liddle, 28, Pocomoke Md., was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center due to unspecified injuries.
The investigation is being conducted by the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit. Alcohol and Speed are factors in the crash. Anyone with any information about this crash is asked to contact Deputy Kenneth Reed of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office at 410-632-1111.
