He has done so much for our veterans. I love him.

He loves the vets, could be a good match, providing he has some business/budget skills

Yes Gary is a good man God Bless him

With the proper staff and support, he could turn things around, including the lack of trust that the VA has garnered over the last decade.

Absolutely. He has kept Veterans issues in the news.

Love Gary Sinise, but he's an actor for goodness sake. What the heck does he know about running a major federal agency?

Donald Trump was a reality tv star and yet now he's President. 😏

All of you who are asking about his ability to lead the VA , just look at the past VA problems , my great-grand-daughter could do a better job than who is there now.

His name is Gary Sinise. He was Lt Dan in the movie Forrest Gump. He also has done a lot for the veterans. He is also the MC for the the National Memorial Day Concert they show each year on PBS. There is a Gary Sinise Foundation that you should google to find out more about this amazing man.

A real American hero, one who has stepped up repeatedly for our veterans. I hope he gets a position where he really can make a difference--great guy.

LT Dan and his band yearly provide more to VA personnel than the actual VA. I'd rather see him continue his volunteer service than be in the politico hot seat.
