That is so true, and children were to be seen and not heard when company was visiting.....and look we all survived!!! 60+ years and counting!!! LOL

My options were take it and eat it!
and if you were hungry, it was your own fault. Momma fixed 3 meals a day...forever.
My mom and grandma made me and my 2nd sister eat everything or we sat at the table for hours and missed cartoons..my lil sister who was nine years younger than us, my mother let her get away with not eating what she wanted...(my grandma wasn't around then.) That sister is hell on wheels today...dont spoil your kids.
Yeah but look at the entitled,ingrates you raised that are surviving in your basement.
If my mom's meals were like that I wouldn't have liked school lunch food so much.
