Traffic Is Crazy Coming Into Ocean City This July 4th

If you are planning on coming to Ocean City tonight you better plan on a long wait. Update, the Bridge just went up too. Rt. 90 is at a dead stop right now from Rt. 589.

What local in their right mind would go to O.C. On the 4th?

Anonymous said...

The ones that have jobs and work for a living.

5:4pm perhaps you are referring to the locals that work in O.C. while everyone else realized I was referring to locals that would voluntarily go to O.C on July 4th. Your reply only suggests you to be petty and small minded.

5:08 What local would go to OC any day!!?

Well 5:08 you must be a "come here". Locals who grew up on the Lower Eastern Shore still enjoy a visit to OC. But certainly not on a Holiday Weekend!

Wrong again..Born and raised and those that I grew up with enjoy O.C. as well...in the fall.

7:24 Small town, small minds, and you fit that description, of a born here.

Will leave OC to the tourists for the summer....fall is when it all starts happening.

Petty & small-minded is what you took from the 5:44 comment? Wow. Sounds like you just described yourself. Your comment made no exceptions, yet someone else is stupid because they didn't read between your imaginary lines? If you had used your words, there wouldn't be any room for confusion. Just sayin'.

Wish I could remember the name of the small piano bar located in mid town OC many years ago. It sat back from the road on the left side of the highway headed north and was painted an ugly color. Looked like an old cape cod house that sat on a lot to itself until you got closer. When you went up the (not so great steps) and got in the door it was truly an escape for the locals. Plants hung from open beams and there was a warm fireplace to chase away the winter nights. The piano was in the right side of the building and welcomed you.

Wish I could think of the crazy name because my memories of the place every Christmas after shopping and relaxing with hot soup and a cocktail are alive and well. Someone local MUST remember the name. Please!!

Only the Jack Spot comes to mind, but that was on the northbound side.

The come here's are the screw ups and misfits that couldn't make it anywhere else.

Don't you just love the "COME HERE" terminology? It sounds so backwater sticks! Get with the program the come heres are outnumbering the born heres. Born Heres are the new Junior Varsity team. Deal with it.

Are we gonna have a rumble? smh
