State Department Won’t Release Clinton Foundation Emails for 27 Months

Department of Justice officials filed a motion in federal court late Wednesday seeking a 27-month delay in producing correspondence between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s four top aides and officials with the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Holdings, a closely allied public relations firm that Bill Clinton helped launch.

If the court permits the delay, the public won’t be able to read the communications until October 2018, about 22 months into her prospective first term as President. The four senior Clinton aides involved were Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Michael Fuchs, Ambassador-At-Large Melanne Verveer, Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, and Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin.

The State Department originally estimated that 6,000 emails and other documents were exchanged by the aides with the Clinton Foundation. But a series of “errors” the department told the court about Wednesday evening now mean the total has grown to “34,116 potentially responsive documents.”

Just plain wrong. The American people will be powerless to see that she gets whats coming to her.

It just goes to show that the State Department is: 1) incompetent; 2) complicit, or; 3) both.

State Department is just as corrupt as the rest. Nothing surprising there!

This has got to stop. Is there no rule of law what so ever?

Sure there is a rule of law.
If you don't wear your seatbelt, you will be fined $90
If you don't buy a fishing license, you will be fined $50
If you don't obey the speed limit in your car, you will be fined on a graduated scale.
If you don't pay taxes on your income, you will be placed into jail and forfeit all of your property.
There are plenty of rules (statutes) that you and I must obey.

why does the State Dept. have any say in this? 'we the people' have a right and an obligation to see everything relating to these liars. they should NEVER be treated any different than ALL U.S. citizens. why are they privileged? prayerfully Mr. Trump will be president and he can turn this around.

2:59....you just got bi***slapped by the very thing they count on ---
the fact that there are TWO sets of laws.
One for you and I and one for the rich and connected elite.
There is no such thing as the rule of law in the US anymore. Who pays and who goes to prison is determined by who you are or who you know.
Every day, more and more people wake up to that reality.
When critical mass is reached, the revolution begins.
Better be ready.
Keep cheering!!

Has anyone ever sat a day in court downtown at the Baptist 2nd floor? It's nothing but a cash machine! Go there and spend a day sitting in the pews... quite an education!

Public Defender = Guilty.

No lawyer = Guilty

Lawyer you paid $$$$ to = Not Guilty.

Cash solves all there.
