Noodles & Co. restaurant in Virginia denies service to female police officer

Employees at an Alexandria, Virginia, Noodles & Co. denied service to a female police officer in uniform on Monday, prompting an investigation from the company.

After seeing the cop waiting in line, a female cook at the restaurant told the cashier, “You better pull me off the line, because I’m not cooking for,” before making a gesture in the direction of the officer, Fox 5 DC reported.

The cook and the cashier proceeded to laugh at the officer, who didn’t want to make a scene and left the restaurant.

Police Chief Earl Cook went to the store on Tuesday to speak with the store’s managers, who reportedly apologized and said they would conduct an internal investigation.

How would you feel if any restaurant refused to serve you, your mother or sister because of race, creed color or the nature of your job if in fact you even have a job unanimous?

The cook and order taker made it clear to the officer she wasn't welcome as a paying customer where they collect their checks. Manager wasn't consulted when they did so.

Cop left. Shared her experience with other members on the force. And why not? Would you want to patronize a place where employees disrespected you in your hearing or view? Heck, no.

Pretty good bet other officers, their families and friends will be giving this place exactly zero of their dollars for a long time.

Back in the day, managing restaurants, I/we knew having cops stop by to eat was one of the best forms of insurance, and it was free!

Hope the noodle joint cut those two idiots loose.

I would love to see 1022 have the same experience, and then wait for the whiney cry baby response... This whole subject is simply sad. To not be served food simply because of your job is plain sad

I'll never need a cop! If I'm robbed the perps long gone and got away scott free! Screw the paper work/report the cop will do after. If I'm home when robbed then the perp will need the cop if he lives! And Fire/EMS. If I'm in an accident then trade information and be on my way. If it's that bad i need Fire/EMS. When is the last time a cop actually stopped a real crime before it was committed? You seem very addicted to cops. Keep snorting that blue line!

Great write up.... To add, I had MSP tell me and everyone else to our faces while looking into a robbery, that newer cops only care to do traffic stops and drug bust... This is evedent when the cops found the guy and let him be until they could lock him up on drug charges...

Also, what other profession gets paid from tax dollar's whom job is to protect and serve as they say and show on thier cars, but thinks he is a hero by ruining people's lives, especially innocent people...
